As a thank you to Tranquility du Jour readers, I’m offering a few complimentary spots to the March 11 virtual retreat for those craving rejuvenation, but unable to attend due to financial reasons.

    Wow first of all how generous of you to do this Kimberly, thank you so much for the opportunity. I would love to win a space at the retreat. I have been struggling with my health for several months and my doctor has told me that slowing down is essential for me. I have tried knitting and adult coloring and somehow have even made these things that I have had to ‘push through’.

    I am always so inspired by you and your wise words and beautiful nature. You are such an amazing mentor I feel if anybody could show me how to slow down it would be you.

    What a sweet and wonderful idea! I am like a lot of these ladies here, where scheduling and designating hours of self-care is difficult, if not downright impossible. I would absolutely love a spot in the retreat as a way to focus on myself and my goals. I am in the process of making some large transitions in my life (including moving 2000 miles from my hometown – yay new adventures!) and it’s been hard for me to keep focused on what I believe is most important. I have always been curious about your retreats and I have not been able to attend one in person or online, but I would be overjoyed to spend a day Kimberly Wilson-style. Thank you so much for this opportunity and thank you so much for your ongoing tranquil inspiration!

    I LOVE the idea of a virtual retreat, and this one is well-timed for those of us in European time zones! I’m a TS devotee since 2005 (attended the first book launch, was sad to miss the 10year!), and one of your art journaling workshops was among my inspirations to take this leap to move abroad! I will be coming off a stressful job interview next week, so a retreat would be just what the doctor ordered to relax and refocus on my next career and personal steps. Thank you again for everything that you do.

    Over the past year I’ve used tools from the Tranquility arsenal (entré Tranquility du Jour!) and mindfulness practices that had been completely unknown to me in order to improve my relationship with myself and to reexamine the function of stress in my life.

    Participating in a virtual retreat would undoubtedly provide new insights and renew my commitment to myself to expand my love and understanding of this one little life I’ve got.

    I am in desperate need for some stillness and space. A recently returning part time children’s therapist, mother of a daughter with special needs- 2017 marks the first year since my daughter was born over a decade ago that a major surgery or procedure isn’t scheduled. My soul is calling for stillness. I attended HTC10, but right now am in need of a retreat- a long day of what seems like self-indulgence but is anything but that.

    What a great promotion! As a development director for a nonprofit, this is the time of year when I am recovering from the rush of the holidays, end-of-year giving, and February grant deadlines while gearing up for spring events and campaign endings. I attended the first virtual retreat and loved it! Saving up to go back to school for my doctorate eventually, so every bit helps.

  12. As a certified Retreat Coach leader, you would think I would be much better at self-care and taking time out for me. Sadly, the downside to running my own business is that my business is pretty much my life and a 7 day a week venture. Add to the mix helping to care for my 2 grandchildren, I feel swamped and overwhelmed much of the time. Finding time to relax and recharge is a huge problem for me and having a true reason to stop, reflect and press pause would do wonders for my sanity, happiness and creativity. I love the idea.

    Oh how a virtual retreat will sooth my ragged soul! I’ve been doing a lot of reading on mindfulness, meditation, and addiction. It’s all in my head and to put aside 6 hours to be with other women would bring me the chance to create some visual journals, mood boards, and just get creative with how I want to manifest this next stage of my life.

    After our house burned down in December, it has been crazy! Luckily, we had good insurance, but it has been a moved into temporary housing until we could find a rental which would allow dogs. Now it’s dealing with having the house rebuilt. I feel like I need something to get me back on an even keel. Not to mention my 4 year old grand daughter is having her tonsils removed in 2 weeks to hopefully solve an immune issue. Crazy doesn’t cover it here!

    I would LOVE to attend the upcoming virtual retreat. Living with my 3 grandchildren (2, 3, and 10) while wonderful and rewarding, can also be chaotic and exhausting! To be able to step away from that for just a little bit and really take some “me” time would be in a word, awesome. Thank you so much for offering the chance to participate.     I adore the idea of doing a little mental vacation, as I can’t afford a physical one the virtual retreat is the perfect answer to my desire of new experiences: I need to live some adventure in my everyday life, to be connected with like-hearted women, to change my routine for some days, to distract the mind from worries and stress, to have a break from everything around me. I would benefit a lot from the retreat from every point of view: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual.

    I was a caregiver for a parent while I also worked full-time. It was difficult. The parent has been gone for three years. I’m still trying to find a new normal, and I’m trying to regroup about my life goals. I’ve been practicing yoga for many decades, and the older I get, the more helpful I find it. Thank you for offering these spots.

    One of my goals for 2017 was to have scheduled “me time”, mostly to relax, reflect or to do projects that I wouldn’t otherwise do. It’s March and I have yet to do it once! The virtual retreat would help me to carve out that space.

    What a perfect and generous offering for Women’s History Month! Thank you for the chance to be a part of it.
    I think I would benefit from this retreat… as I suffer from panic and anxiety [it’s a big, proud move for me to even admit that publicly], and even though I am constantly working to understand, care for, respect, and control my symptoms, any additional tools would be quite valuable.
