The Artist's Way Salon

April 11-June 28

Using The Artist’s Way as our shared framework, we’ll move through the program together with weekly audio lessons that translate Julia Cameron’s ideas into real, lived midlife context: full lives, layered identities, creative longing, and the desire for something that feels both meaningful and doable.

About The Artist's Way Salon

This book has been the single most influential creative companion of my life. Before encountering The Artist’s Way, I never thought of myself as creative. Yet it was this work that gave me the courage, in 1999, to begin teaching yoga in my living room. That small, tentative beginning grew into a vibrant community with two thriving studio locations, which I later sold in 2017. I share this not as a blueprint, but as an invitation to trust what can unfold when we listen to the voice inside.

This Salon is not about forcing output or fixing yourself. It’s about listening again. Making space. Reclaiming curiosity, play, and creative trust, alongside other women who understand this season of life.

Whether you’re a writer, artist, maker, or simply craving reconnection to your inner voice, this Salon offers structure, companionship, and encouragement to show up for your creativity with kindness and consistency.

• You feel a quiet (or not-so-quiet) longing to reconnect with your creativity

• You’ve carried a lot for others and are ready to make space for yourself again

• You want structure and support without pressure or perfectionism

• You’re curious about The Artist’s Way or ready to experience it anew in midlife

• You crave thoughtful connection with other midlife women and creativity-seekers

• You want your creative life to feel nourishing, not another item on the to-do list

La Rentrée: A Fall Reset

In France, la rentrée marks the joyful return after summer holidays. A fresh start filled with sharpened pencils, new notebooks, and renewed rhythms.

For midlife women, this season offers the same invitation: to pause, reflect on the gifts and lessons of summer, release what no longer serves, and gently reorient toward what matters most! Together we’ll explore cozy rituals to ground you in the season ahead while choosing a personal fall focus—perhaps a word, practice, or ritual—to anchor your days. Think of it as back-to-school for the soul. A playful yet profound reset to design a fall that feels nourishing and intentional.

I’m busy, how much time will this take?

I’m busy, how much time will this take?

This is meant to fit into your life, so I encourage spending about an hour each week reading the chapter plus a few hours doing daily(ish) Morning Pages along with a weekly Artist Date. Beyond that, everything is invitational. You can linger with the writing exercises or move through them lightly. Engage in the community as much or as little as feels supportive. And while the live Zoom gatherings offer connection and reflection, they’re always optional and you get replays! You’ll have lifetime access to the course materials so there’s no rush.
